We knew it was coming, but we couldn’t be more excited now that it’s been made official. Yesterday, The Avett Brothers announced the release of their sixth studio album, The Carptenter. Although it’s not set for release until September 11, they have unveiled the first single off the album entitled “Live and Die”. The band is in heavy tour mode, traversing North America all summer, and after back-to-back sold out shows at The Danforth Music Hall in May, we can’t wait the boys return to Toronto’s Molson Amphitheatre with City and Colour and Hey Rosetta! on September 12.
